The Palm Bistro
A small, relaxed and classy bistro located several kilometres outside town, with fine European food and contemporary Thai fusion cooked by an English chef. Meals are well presented and the menu changes daily. Examples include slow roasted belly pork with apple sauce, classic fish and chips, and desserts such as coconut ice cream and cheese and biscuits. Traditional roasts are available on Sundays.

Popular and well known local restaurant which does traditional Indian cuisine, with all the usual curry, rice and vegetable dishes on the menu. The premises are tiny but the food is generally very good.

An attractive and peaceful garden restaurant set in a quiet street, which does a variety of Mexican, Italian and Thai food, as well as steaks and regular barbecues. There’s a wide choice of margeritas and other cocktails. There is also a bakery, and they sell a small selection of imported food products.
